Koreans are outraged by judge Song Kyung Ho and his decision to reject Seungri’s second pre-trial detention warrant. Netizens are now questioning Korea’s judicial system and if it is truly fair and just.

Judge Song Kyung Ho

Korea’s judicial system has long been known to favor towards those with money and power, and this is a classic example that not much has changed.

The super wealthy in Korea, known as Jaebuls, are almost untouchable by Korea’s legal system. They’re able to buy their way out of criminal charges.

After Seungri’s case, Netizens are commenting on articles stating:

“So this is what it means to be above the law.”

“Judge Song Kyung Ho should judge Seungri as though he were a regular citizen.”

Everyone agrees that a regular citizen in Korea would certainly not have gotten their detention warrant dismissed.
